From the very beginning, God has been pursuing mankind & looking for someone who will join in His vision. He called out Abraham & gave him a vision that would reach the nations

Genesis 26:4 NKJV “And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;”

Abraham’s heart began to beat with the heartbeat of God. It’s important to understand the scope of what God was saying because if you are reading this as a Westerner, you will most likely read “nations” as meaning countries. There are 195 countries in the world today. Nations  though, is not referring to countries as the word used is “ethnos” which basically means ethnic groups or people groups of which there are 10,200 or if we were to consider some of those are separated and spread around the world you could say 17,000.

God had a means by which He would bring His Blessing to all people groups, the Seed.

Genesis 26:4b NKJV “… in your seed all nations of the earth shall be blessed.”

God brought His Blessing into this world through His man Adam but Adam fell, then God Blessed Noah, then Abraham, then Isaac, then Jacob who was named Israel and so on till the Seed came, Jesus.

Galatians 3:16 NKJV [16] Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.

Now in Jesus, the Seed, all those in Him are called the seed & blessed with the Blessing.

Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV [26] For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

All along God had a vision to bless all ethnic groups when they would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ the Blessing would come upon them & they too fulfilling God’s promise to Abraham.

This is why we can read:

Galatians 3:8-9 NKJV [8] And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” [9] So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

So let’s bring into today, let’s bring it k to now, are you in Christ, if so, do you know you are Blessed? Are you fulfilling God’s vision? If you can’t say you are in Christ & have a relationship with Jesus, then you can today:

Romans 10:9 NKJV [9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

God has provided the only solution to humanity’s problem, mankind has sinned against God & fallen from His perfect standard. Man cannot make things right with God through their own efforts, the Father sent His Son to pay the price for our sin & make us right with God.

Romans 1:4 NLT [4] and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

Whoever believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is saved, welcomed into the Family of God, placed into Christ & Blessed!

God is calling you & has Blessed you to be a Blessing!
