You do not need to keep the app open to know when something happens. The bell shows everything inside the app, and Telegram can bring the important parts to your phone.
The bell
The bell at the top of every page is always on. Its Needs you filter shows what is waiting for a decision:
- drafts to review: first messages in their 24-hour review window.
- replies need you: conversations waiting in Conversations.
- companies to contact by hand.
- Inbox check failed: replies cannot come in until the connection is fixed.
Below these, it lists recent events such as leads found, messages sent and replies received. Use All, Needs you and Unread to filter, and Mark all as read to clear the count.
Link Telegram
Telegram is free and works well on a phone. Open Settings → Notifications, then:
- Under 1. Where should we tell you?, find Telegram and select Open Telegram. This opens a one-time link to the notification bot.
- Press Start in the chat. It must be a private chat with the bot.
- Come back to the app and press Check.
- Choose what to be told about (below), switch summaries on and select Save. Linking alone does not turn summaries on.
- Use Send me a test to confirm it works.
The link works once and expires after 10 minutes. If you see Not available, the bot has not been set up for your workspace yet; ask your account manager. Email notifications are not available yet.
Choose what you hear about
Under 2. What should we tell you about?, pick a preset:
- Only what needs me: replies, meetings and problems.
- Everything: also leads, sends and research runs.
- Let me choose: pick individual events, such as A lead replied, Meeting secured, Something needs you, Email failed or bounced, Leads processed, Messages sent and Research runs.
These choices apply to Telegram. The bell always shows everything.
How summaries are bundled
To avoid a stream of pings, activity is bundled into short summaries: the app waits until things have been quiet for a few minutes, and sends at least one summary every 15 minutes while activity continues. A summary gives counts such as leads found and emails sent, lists up to 20 company names, and has a View more button. Recent summaries on the settings page keeps the history.
A “meeting secured” alert means the conversation was marked as booked in the app. It does not confirm a calendar booking.
If alerts stop arriving, open Settings → Notifications and use Send me a test. If the test does not arrive, select Disconnect Telegram and link it again.
The daily draft digest
If your account manager has switched it on for your workspace, Telegram also sends one message a day, after 09:00 Malaysia time, listing the first messages due to send in the next 24 hours, for example “5 first messages will send in the next 24 hours unless you skip them”. It names up to 12 companies with their channel, then links straight to Review drafts. It is only sent on days when something is due.
The digest is the easiest way to use the review window. Read it with your morning coffee, and skip anything that does not look right before it leaves.
